Born and grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, I graduated from the historic Little Rock Central High School.  I studied psychology for two years at the University of Arkansas, but eventually enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in 1971 during the Vietnam War.  Now, a Vietnam-era veteran, I served twenty-three years in military intelligence, received training in Russian and completed tours of duty in England, Turkey, Italy, and Japan.  I retired in 1995 and have lived in Baltimore, Maryland, where I worked for an engineering firm for twenty years as a technical writer.  My first novel, "Secret of the Yululu Bone" was published in 2009.  "Curse of the Uninspired"  was published in 2016. I have permanently relocated near my original home in Arkansas, where I am currently working on my third novel in the Aukmondi series.
